Premio d’architettura contemporanea italiana Ludovico degli Uberti
The project APE TAU receives the 2ndprize at the prestigious MAXXI Base. Projects are the subject of an exhibition held from 12 to 23 December 2011 at the House of Architecture in Rome.
On Monday, December 5, after the conclusion of jury’s works, they proceeded with the prize-giving of the competition, indeed to enhance the architectures of the post-quake reconstruction in L’Aquila.
The prize-giving ceremony takes place at MAXXI Base, where Ludovico degli Uberti Foundation has collected the whole archive of Arch. Degli Uberti. The awards ceremony have been attended by Margherita Guccione, Director of MAXXI Architecture, Amedeo Schiattarella, President of the Architects of Rome, Maristella Casciato, techer of Architecture History at Università di Bologna, Aldo Benedetti, Professor of Architectural Composition in L’Aquila. Projects boards have been shown there for the whole day: three winning projects for “projects section” and one for “realized works”.
The Competition Area of Architects of Rome has collaborated to the organization and it organize an exhibition for all participant projects at the House of Architecture from 12 to 23 December, to show the result of an initiative enhancing architecture’s works to rediscover the centrality of a quality project as an element of development of our cities.
