The exigency to have functional spaces according to regulations and technically reliable, in Boario Terme factory, brought to the demolition of an existing space with metal structure, used as canopy/storage to cover PET bottles, and replace it with a new structure, in galvanized steel mostly cladded with sandwich polyurethane panels, both for the façade and the roof, and with zenithal skylights.
The steel structure, with large span trusses, allows to have a wide space for storage and maneuvering, to better place plastic materials before bottling. The logistic becomes safer and respects present regulations about health and security of working places.
The choice of panels rhythm and of colors, by the typical palette of Ferrarelle brand, defines a new volume compared with the existing one (which had a precarious and old image).The precision and terseness of the volume, the clear identification of access portals and of external drainpipes, of pillars and beams inside, trace out an architecture clean and sober, effective and immediate both in his global shape and in his detectability in the whole industrial complex.
