The idea to insert PCM (Phace Change Materials) in a household object like a screen is by Alberto Meda, a world-famous designer who has studied this system with Vitra. Atelier2, as an expert in artificial thermal inertia technologies, was called for the technological design.
The collaboration, with two monitoring campaigns on two study models, aimed to improve the final prototype, at last exposed in Triennale Design Museum – Milan and in Vitra Design Museum – Basel.
