Traditional and Creative Rabbit Lantern – An Exhibition by Carlos Marreiros and Friends – Part 3 and Part 4
Albergue SCM Gallery – Macau
Come to the third edition, the lantern exhibition organized by Carlos Marreiros and Albergue SCM Gallery gains a growing success: from the first one, where traditional lanterns number prevailed, to bear witness to historical Macau tradition rabbit shaped lanterns – lampiao do coelhinho, the exhibition evolved towards a prevalence of original lanterns, designed by artists from all over the world and realized by hand according to the tradition (metal or bamboo structure and paper) by two local masters.
Arcoquattro, from Milan, accepted the invitation with enthusiasm, creativity and irony and Macau have been reached by the lanterns signed by Marco Imperadori and Andrea Balestreri for Atelier2, Guido Scarabottolo, Cristina Piccioli, Nico Zardo, Max Casalini, Rodolfo Viganò.
